Ninth Grade Slays #2 is the second book in The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod. It follows the events after Vlad's escape from the prison where he was being held for being a vampire. In this novel, Vladimir has to find out who is hunting him and why as he tries to figure out his new life.

Ninth Grade Slays was a series of books I loved. It took place in the middle ages, which is not exactly my favorite time period, but it was so much fun and the characters were super real. The two main protagonists were Vlad Tod and his sister, Mila. They were born with some curly hair and magic run in their blood, so they were ostracized by society. At one point when Vlad was just a boy, his father killed one of the men who would not stop bothering Vlad's mother. The whole book is about how Vlad plots to kill him and free his mom from her abusive husband while trying to keep his little sister safe from other threats
