Muse of Nightmares Free Audiobook Download by Laini Taylor
Laini Taylor's Muse of Nightmares is a gripping coming-of-age story that takes place in a dystopian future. The protagonist, Ava, has the ability to turn into anything she imagines, becoming literally a muse for others. When her family is eventually killed by the government, she flees and finds herself in a dark forest where she discovers that everything is not as it seems.
The audiobook is narrated by Steve West, who does a great job of telling the story. If you're into horror, or if you haven't read this book yet, I'd highly recommend listening to it.

After this tragedy, Shanti's uncle took her in and raised her for a year before he committed suicide. Shanti starts to work for the owner of the circus where she meets two clowns with different personalities and sees her life in a dream-like state. The narrator for this audiobook is Steve West who does an amazing job with his British accent!
The Muse of Nightmares is an audiobook by Laini Taylor that tells the story of a woman named Vic and her unusual relationship with the muse, who makes dreams come to life. When Vic's dreams start to become nightmares, she seeks help from the only person who can help her--the Muse of Nightmares. In order to reach her, Vic has to go through a series of difficult trials and tests.
Dreams are one of the most powerful forces in a person's life. They can be the source of many thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Unlike many people, Muse is not just an artist that focuses on painting and writing, but also on dreaming. In Muse of Nightmares, Laini Taylor takes readers into the dream world where they can learn more about Muse and her dreams. All the chapters are told in second person perspective, so readers will experience what it is like to be inside of a dream with Muse. There is speculation as to whether or not there really is such a thing as a dream world or if it only exists in Muse's own mind; but this question isn't for long because the story quickly becomes even more interesting than what was initially thought.
In this audiobook, the narrator, Steve West, brings all the elements of Laini Taylor's novel alive. In addition to his performance, which has a calm and peaceful feel to it, he also adds specific sound effects when needed. For example, when Muse sees a giant clock in New York City as a child and notices its hands have been put back at midnight- and they will remain there until she dies- West uses an eerie ticking sound to show her terror of the situation. The book is engaging from start to finish and I would definitely recommend listening to it over reading it.
