Murder with Collard Greens and Hot Sauce Free Audiobook Download by A.L. Herbert

As a recent transplant to New Orleans, I had but only a vague idea of the local culinary traditions. One dish that seems to have crossed all cultures is the dish referred to as "collard greens and hot sauce."

Murder with Collard Greens and Hot Sauce is an audiobook which tells the story of a man who gets fed up with the way his life is going, so he decides to kill someone with his collard greens and hot sauce. As he's making a sauce for his victim, he realizes that this could be his own death, so he decides to go out in a blaze of glory.

A.L. Herbert's audiobook, "Murder with Collard Greens and Hot Sauce," is a story about an African-American family that has recently moved to an all-white neighborhood. The narrator, Janina Edwards, walks readers through the day of the murder, describing how the family begins preparing collard greens in order to take to a church picnic before they discover their new neighbor's body. After being arrested for the murder, Eddy (the narrator) spends his days with his father in jail and struggling to figure out whether or not he is guilty of this crime.

Janina Edwards wrote this book to give a voice to the often overlooked women of the South. She began by writing about her mother, who was murdered, and then went on to expand on the lives of her friends and neighbors.

While reading this book, I have learned a lot about the different types of murder. The title might be misleading because there are more than just two types of murder in this book. This is because Herbert discusses murder in many different forms such as conspiracy and mass murders. He also discusses murder by the government like with Guantanamo Bay and other secret prisons around the world. There are many topics that are brought up in this book that I never thought of before and A.L. Herbert has written an excellent book that can provide many different perspectives on the topic.

In his debut novel, A.L. Herbert has created a darkly comic story about a young man who falls for the woman of his dreams only to have her be murdered when he tries to reach out to her. The narrator, Janina Edwards, is a tough-talking lady and she often provides comic relief throughout the book. Murder with Collard Greens and Hot Sauce is a well-written tale that has you sitting at the edge of your seat while laughing out loud because it is so funny.
