Mummy's Boy tells the story of Harry, a young boy with a single Mum and little brother. Harry is always looking for ways to please her - even if it means sticking to a strict diet that has been put in place by his teacher. One day, his friend Jacob moves into the next house over, and Harry falls in love with Jacob when he realizes that he can still eat all the things that make life worth living.
The audiobook edition of this novel was beautifully narrated by four main characters. I was really surprised to find out that all four actors were British, which made this story feel even more realistic and at the same time, so much more immersive.
