More than a Dream Free Audiobook Download by Lauraine Snelling
In this audio book, the main character is questioning her faith in the Lord. She is expressing a deep desire to have a family of her own and starts wondering if she will be able to do so with God's help.
"I'm going to share my journey with you," says Stina as she begins the audiobook. "This is not just a book, but part of my life's story." I love it when people are able to connect with stories because that's how I was introduced to Lauraine Snelling and her book More than a Dream. The book was chosen for our Book Club during our last meeting and from there, we met someone in my church who lives a very similar life. That's how I came across this audiobook and thought it would be perfect for our meeting this week!
For this book, Lauraine Snelling has done all the writing. "More than a Dream" is a story about a young girl who dreams of being an author and goes on to write her first novel. It talks about her life experiences with diabetes and how she overcame them. She shared stories from friends and family members who went through similar struggles.
This book is about a young girl named Winnie, who has dreamed of being a movie star since she was just three years old. She starts out as the daughter of a theatrical actor, but always knew that her true passion was to be on stage and in front of a camera. More than a Dream is about Winnie's journey from little girl to famous actress on Broadway. The book also discusses her falling in love with her husband, and finding his strength to support her in pursuing her dreams.
More than a Dream, Lauraine Snelling's first novel is the story of a young woman who journeys from Sweden to America in 1872 and finds herself in the company of a rough and tough, but undeniably handsome Swedish immigrant named Jonas. They have an instant connection that changes both their lives. They fall into bed within hours of meeting.
Most people have dreamed of someday becoming an author. Few ever achieve that goal, but Lauraine Snelling not only became a best-selling romance novelist with more than 70 novels to her credit, she did it all by herself. Born in rural Montana and raised on a cattle ranch with five brothers, Lauraine had no formal education beyond high school. She did read voraciously and penned her first novel at the age of 22 after she couldn't find anything to read that she could relate to.
