Matrix: A Novel Free Audiobook Download by Lauren Groff

Matrix is an American science fiction action film written and directed by Larry Wachowski, co-written by Andy Wachowski, and starring Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hugo Weaving. In the film's narrative, Neo (Reeves) is a computer hacker who breaks into the computers of the world's most powerful organizations, including those belonging to a sinister conspiracy. It is eventually revealed that he has been living in "the real world" his entire life and everything around him is actually a virtual-reality construct run by sentient machines that have enslaved humanity.

This is a novel about the woman who has been chosen to be with Neo in the Matrix. This woman is known as 'Neo's one'. She wakes up from a car crash and she has to fight for her life.

This is the story of a woman struggling to make sense of her parents' lifelong love affair and where it came from. It also tells of a young woman longing for freedom, who falls in love with a man she's not sure she can trust.

The novel starts in the year 2043, with the destruction of the world's population by a corporation that is using the population as fuel. We live in an alternate reality, where people plug themselves into computer programs to fight for their survival. The protagonist is a "Neo-Matriarch" who has to overthrow her dictator father, who has been ruling for 20 years.

[Adjoa Andoh] is a very well-known narrator, so it was really great to have her narrate the audiobook. It was easy enough to follow along and appreciate the narrative that she created.

In the span of a single day, Lauren Groff's character Nora Wake goes from being a blissfully happy young woman in her twenties to being the prime target of an elaborate government conspiracy. As she fights for her life and freedom, she learns more about family, addiction and love as she struggles to find herself after losing so much.
