I'm going to be completely honest, when I first saw Lauren Layne's bestselling Made in Manhattan, the title was my main reason for downloading and listening. What a pleasant surprise it was! Ms. Layne weaves a spell around you from page one and takes you through the twists and turns of her novel masterfully. It's an engaging story with an interesting cast of characters. I enjoyed every minute of it.
