Lovely War Free Audiobook Download by Julie Berry

The narrator in this book, which is about a war where the soldiers are tasked with collecting eggs for their breakfast, was so good that I was riveted with every word. This audiobook is worth listening to because of the great narrator.

In the first book of a dark and twisty adult mystery series (check out the read-along for kids), young Private Harry Roan is sent to investigate an abandoned village in France, where he uncovers evidence of war crimes. As he tries to make sense of what's happening, he falls in love with a local woman. Julie Berry has written an amazing book about growing up in a dysfunctional family in her narration of Lovely War. She captures the essence of so much through her writing and how raw it is. This book is one that does not need to be read, but should be listened to.
