My favorite part of this audio is the smooth and continuous transitions between kisses and croissants. There are no sudden stops in the story, as it flows well enough to keep you entertained. This could be because of the narrator's voice which is soft and soothing without any jarring notes.

[Imani Jade Powers'] is a talented narrator in audiobooks who brings to life the characters with her lively tones and wonderful pacing. This audiobook made me laugh out loud many times, even though I was reading it at work or in public. Her ability to take on different accents makes for great characterization as well.

It is a light, sweet and very romantic audiobook. Listening to it is a wonderful way of spending time with yourself and enjoying this author's style.

This story is about a white French girl who moves to London with her family. You follow her high school years until she decides to leave again to go and see the world. She comes back a much bigger person in all sorts of ways, but also still very French. It's funny how she tries to balance both worlds, but really, it's just life.

Kisses and Croissants by Anne-Sophie Jouhanneau is a well-written, very well-paced story. Ms. Jouhanneau has a way to make you feel the emotion of each scene and she doesn't shy away from some difficult situations that many authors would gloss over. A few heartwrenching scenes near the end of the book are handled very well with just the right amount of sentimentality.
