[Audiobook download] killing Mr. Griffin recounts the story of a Satanic cult that actually murders and sacrifices young children, who seem to be getting younger, all as part of their rituals. The narrator tells a bit of his own story before beginning the story proper and then proceeds to tell the tale in a slightly sketchy style that is effective at telling this dark story.
The novel [is] narrated by a 12-year-old boy named Steven Griffin; the story is centred on the abduction of Steven and his younger brother, Tony, from their home in Fort Wayne, Indiana to New York City. The two boys must not only survive but also work together to find clues that lead them to their parents and escape from the captors.
In an audiobook, 'Dennis Holland' narrates the story of a group of children who live in terror as they are stalked by a lonely-heart killer. There is no escape for the kids hiding in the school bus, or for those who remain on their street.
The narrator is the protagonist of the book, Kizzy. There's no one she can trust and no-one who truly gives a shit about her life. The only person in this world who could change her miserable existence is Mr. Griffin and for that Kizzy needs to kill him. But as we all know killing Mr. Griffin isn't an easy feat and it becomes more complicated when he starts taking things from her that are so important to her survival like food and shelter.
