Working in a department store, the protagonist, 'Oliver Wyman' (a drag queen), meets a nun who falls for him. This comedy of errors is told from the point of view of Wyman and his friends.

Christopher Moore's latest novel is a wild adventure set in the 1960s. Oliver Wyman does an outstanding job narration for this novel.

It's been awhile since I've read a novel that made me laugh and cry at the same time. This book is like none other, it has a myriad of related concepts all wrapped up into one. It took my breath away with its humor and wonder, as well as gave me a sense of peace when things got dark, and most importantly, it made me think about love in a different way.

In 2003, Christopher Moore's first novel was published. It was the eulogy for a comic-book hero, recounting his life and death. When his book came out of print in 2006, the remainder sold at a charity auction. His publisher contacted him to see if he would be interested in reissuing it as an audiobook. The new edition is narrated by Oliver Wyman, who has been dead since 2005 and makes no apologies for it!
