Into the Wilderness is an American coming-of-age novel that tells the story of Ann - a 15-year old girl who moves from San Francisco to the wilds of Montana and has to learn how to survive. I found the book to be intense, passionate and true.
Into the Wilderness: A Novel is a story of how four women find freedom, self-discovery, and love in Montana.
Into the Wilderness is a novel about love, loss, and wilderness. Kate Reading does a wonderful job narrating this story about 3 different people who go on separate journeys to find themselves in the mountains of North Carolina. There are some parts of the book that will make you laugh and others that will make you cry. One thing I really like about this book is that it doesn't talk down to its audience. It provides long descriptions of how it's supposed to be read and how the characters feel as they are going through their life struggles.
Into the Wilderness is a heart-breaking story of hope, faith, and love. It follows two women as they journey through Arizona's Petrified Forest where they both find what they are looking for.

At first glance, the cabin looks to be perfect for Eliza and her new lifestyle. But as time goes on, what was once a dream becomes a nightmare. How would you feel if your dream vacation turned into an experience more like Hell? The narrator in Into the Wilderness: A Novel is Kate Reading.
