In her performance she pays special attention to tone, capturing both the comic spirit of these tales while also conveying their poignancy. Her English is spotless, and even though she enunciates strongly I never found any difficulty in understanding.

She enunciated clearly, and I could easily distinguish between different characters with their unique accents. This book is best listened to on audiobook because you get to enjoy the story as though you are actually there in Scotland visiting these ladies.
