I Don't Want to Kill You Free Audiobook Download by Dan Wells

Dan Wells has the perfect voice for reading this stunning novel. The story was made into an audiobook narrated by Kirby Heyborne.

As the protagonist of the novel, Nick is polite and nice to everyone he meets. He's not mean or rude, but there are plenty of dark moments in the book where he makes mistakes that could have been avoided. The narrator of 'Kirby Heyborne' helps show how these mistakes can be impactful to those around him, and the reader can see how they could lead to a tragedy.

I Don't Want to Kill You is a novel about a young woman who gets selected for a centennial paranormal experience. The process of the centennial is not without its dangers and she has to battle her way through them, with the help of a few friends.

Kirby Heyborne is the perfect narrator for this audiobook. The story is well-written and read in a summery style that makes it a perfect book to listen to during the summer. Most of the books I have listened to by Dan Wells have been fantastic, but there was one thing that bothered me throughout the whole I Don't Want to Kill You narration: Kirby Heyborne's voice-acting. Every time he started narrating an event that occurred before the book starts, his voice sounds too old and gives off a cheesy tone when he says "I don't want to kill you."

In this thrilling audiobook, Kirby Heyborne voices the protagonist and narrator, Dan Wells, who has a contract to kill all of the vampires on earth. The target for his first kill is one of his best friends, ironically named Lucy Gettys. As Dan struggles with some pre-kill jitters and an internal struggle between doing what he believes is right and what he knows will make him happy, Kirby's voice rings clear throughout the book as it shifts from third person narration to first person narrative.

Kirby Heyborne, the narrator of this audiobook, makes it hard not to fall in love with his voice as he careens between all different accents and tones. The story is interesting with a great twist and ending. Kirby Heyborne's narration makes this audiobook all the more enthralling.
