Hunter's Moon has been a real pleasure to listen to. It features many twists and turns that keep you on edge while you're listening to the novel. Hunter's Moon is a story of a young boy who learned how to survive on his own. He had to learn this the hard way by hunting, gathering, and fishing for food. It was the 1930s, and he was living in the rural South. A hunter's moon was perfect for hunting during those weeks because it meant no clouds and a chance for him to get more game.

Hunter's Moon is a lovely story about a deputy sheriff in the Old West who faces danger and fear in order to protect his family, friends, and community. It all starts when Deputy Sheriff Jacob Hunter brings home a stranger to help with the cattle drive. They find themselves on an untamed land where they must fight against nature itself.

The protagonist of this novel is David Hunter. He's a pilot who's been grounded for two years without pay. His family has been killed and he's lost everything in his life. One day, a storm forced him to crash-land in northern Canada. When he was running low on fuel and realized that he couldn't make it back to civilization, he saw the lights of an abandoned mining town and decided to land there instead.

The book is a Christian allegory that tells the story of a boy named John Carter who is taken away to Mars by an evil Martian. Carter, though, is saved and returns back to Earth a new man. The book explores how Carter was able to stop being selfish and more willing to give in order to change his life—and thus the lives of many others.
