The House of Reckoning is the fourth installment in John Saul's Johnny Reb series. It is narrated by Angela Dawe, a fictional character from the author's earlier works. The story follows a young woman named Amanda who is faced with an unimaginable choice.

House of Reckoning is a great audiobook to listen to. The narrator does a fantastic job with the book and the read is very smooth and easy to follow. I had no issues with this book, it was an excellent read that I kept on listening too again and again over the course of my trip.

House of Reckoning is a dark, suspenseful suspense novel about two women. One is the wife of an affluent and powerful politician. The other works in his office as a personal assistant to his wife.
