Here’s to Us Free Audiobook Download by Adam Silvera,Becky Albertalli

The novel follows two teens, Riley and Vivien, as they go through the trials and tribulations of being teenagers. As they try to relate to one another in a world that is constantly changing for them, the book emphasizes the importance of friendship.

Adam Silvera and Becky Albertalli's Here's to Us is about a teenage boy named Josh who just graduated from high school, and he moves to Los Angeles to start his new life. When he arrives at his new home, his parents make him join the neighborhood book club, because they think it will help him fit in. At first, Josh is excited that he has found a way to meet people. Soon enough, he realizes that The Book Club is really just a way for adults to talk about their personal lives in an adult setting without having kids around. After a few months of attending the meetings, Josh learns that there are some things you can't find out over email or in person - like what happens when you die.

Adam and Becky are in love, but their families have different views on their relationship. When Adam's brother is accepted into college, Adam realizes that Becky has to go with him and she will no longer be able to come home on the weekends. The only way for Adam to see her is if he attends the college too. Now the two must find a way to get through the school year without being separated.

This young adult audiobook is about a high school senior who's in love with his best friend, a gay freshman who hasn't told anyone yet. One day, his best friend comes out to him and the story is about their journey of love for each other as well as accepting who they truly are.

Becky Albertalli is best known for her coming-of-age novel, Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda. Adam Silvera on the other hand has been praised by both critics and his peers for his debut work, Everything Begins & Ends At The Edge of Night.

The audiobook is narrated by two fabulous narrators, Noah Galvin and Froy Gutierrez. I do tend to enjoy Adam Silvera’s writing better in audio format. The book starts out with a lot of high school drama. A lot of the characters are being bullied by different people and those people are not real friends. There is a huge cast of characters but the main focus on this audiobook is one person: Clay Jensen.
