In this book we are introduced to new characters and given the chance to learn more about previous ones. This is particularly true of the protagonist, Charmcaster, who has a much bigger role in this novel. The character development through her and her friends is very well done and can't be missed. The world-building is also strong as it continues to expand with every book in this series.

This audiobook is perfect for listeners who want something a little bit different. The book may not be for everyone, but it's great for those who enjoy a little magic with their romance.
