Going Postal Free Audiobook Download by Terry Pratchett

Terry Pratchett's Going Postal is a story about Moist Von Lipwig, the new Postmaster General of Ankh-Morpork and how he sets up a postal service for the city. The book is crammed with humor, creativity, ideas and satire.

This was the first audio book by Terry Pratchett I ever listened to and it remains one of my favorites. The story is about a postman named Moist von Lipwig who gets turned into a postmaster general, taking over the role of delivering letters in a city that's been devastated by industrialization. He quickly becomes popular, but then sets out to have a revolution in the way people think about money and power.

Going Postal is a satirical novel by Terry Pratchett set in Discworld, a fantasy world. The protagonist, Sam Vimes, has his wife and daughter murdered by the citywatch because he had been on leave for three days without authorization. He then goes undercover to find out who killed them and starts an investigation from within the city watch.

Three years have passed since the events of "Going Postal", and now Moist von Lipwig is on his way to becoming a certifiably successful entrepreneur. When he's approached by one of his old friends, who has recently been promoted to head of the Royal Mail, they start thinking about going into business together. They've come up with a plan that would get them rich quick, but it also comes with a lot of risks.

This is a different type of audiobook. Rather than being read by the author, it has been narrated by Stephen Briggs. He does an amazing job with this narration and makes the whole story come alive with his voice.
