Girl in the Blue Coat Free Audiobook Download by Monica Hesse
This is a beautiful audio book that I listened to on my walks to work. It's about a young girl who lost her father in World War II and then became an orphan after the war ended. She had to move from one place to the next and lived hard lives. Monica Hesse tells this story with a descriptive style that reminds me of poets like Sylvia Plath. The girl's journey is just so heartbreaking but the ending is so beautiful.
