Fortunate Son Free Audiobook Download by Jay Crownover

This is a story about Jackson Crownover and his family. Jackson grew up in the small town of Leech, Mississippi with his three brothers and one sister. He always knew he would be different from them, but he never thought it would be so hard to fit in. Jackson's parents left him when he was six years old, sending him to live with his older brother Charlie. Charlie raised Jackson as a single father and helped him find a place within the close-knit family that would always reject him.

First, let me say that this was one of the most gorgeous audiobooks I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. The narrator Kasha Kensington was perfect and her voice seemed to just make the book so much richer. This is a love story about finding your happily ever after and it's told with a powerful combination of heartfelt emotion, unforgettable imagery and a touch of steamy sexiness that makes it very hard not to fall in love with these characters themselves

In this Fortunate Son audiobook download, Kasha Kensington and Aaron Shedlock are the narrators. They read the novel to you with skill, creating tension and drama to keep you interested in what's happening.

Fortunate Son is a broken novel that is trying to be clever. From the premise of the plot to the use of language and imagery, it has so much going for it. There are only two problems: it doesn't work, and it's too well-intentioned.

Jay Crownover's Fortunate Son is an intense, darkly humorous and sexually charged story of loyalty, family secrets and sexual discovery.

"The day I found out my mom was cheating on my dad, I had already been grounded," he tells himself. "I could leave the house. I could walk down to the convenience store and buy a pack of smokes, and without fail, people would offer me a lighter or a quarter for a pack."
