It's pretty exciting to get a new audiobook download and I just couldn't wait any longer. When it finally arrived in my inbox, I downloaded it right away. The narration is awesome and the story is really sweet. It's also really engaging, which is something you don't always find with YA fiction.

The reader is introduced to Keladry of Mindelan as she prepares to take her first test. The test consists of fighting with a sword, riding a horse and using a bow. Each task tests different skills that can help her protect the small folk who are under attack.

This is the first book of the series. It's not long, but it's certainly a good read and I enjoyed listening to it on my way to work.
