Eyes of Prey Free Audiobook Download by John Sandford

The two-disc audiobook edition of Eyes of Prey by John Sandford is narrated by Richard Ferrone. The book is the 29th novel in the impressive series featuring detective Virgil Flowers, and was published on March 8, 2008. The story starts with members of a high-level prostitution ring attempting to kill Virgil Flowers before he can find out who they are and what they're doing. It's up to Flowers to save his own life as well as that of his fiancee, Carlotta (a crime lab technician), saying "there's something you don't know about me" since this is the first time he has ever revealed anything about himself.

The beginning of the story starts in a city where there is a serial killer and they don't know who it is. This book is about main character Lucas Davenport as he investigates the case with help from his sidekick and partner, Virgil Flowers. They start to suspect that one of the cops on their force may be one of the serial killers, so they work extra hard to find out which one.

John Sandford and Richard Ferrone are both exceptional narrators, but this doesn't do justice to their performances on the audiobook for Eyes of Prey. The story is told in three parts and each one is narrated by one of them. This would be easy to switch off, but the connection between all three parts is so strong that it really enriches the story. In fact, it's almost as if they're speaking to you together through your headphones.

This is the first book of the "Prey" series, in which John Sandford plays out the concept of a serial killer who picks off people who are bound to be missed-the woman with the dog, the businessman at his desk on a Monday morning, or the man eating cheese pizza.

The audiobooks for "Eyes of Prey" are narrated by Richard Ferrone. Ferrone is an American voice actor, producer and film director who has done a lot of work in the area of audiobooks with companies such as Recorded Books, Recorded Books Ink and Wordmonger Media.
