Every Tool's a Hammer: Life Is What You Make It Free Audiobook Download by Adam Savage
Sometimes the most interesting things about life are the ways in which we each slice it. We build our own roads and carve our own trails, with a toolkit that is uniquely tailored to us, and we have to make the best of what we've got. With the help of author Adam Savage, this audiobook takes you on a journey across many philosophies, exploring the big questions that shape who you are and how you live.
Adam Savage is one of the most well-known hosts of TV shows and a man who lives by "Every Tool's a Hammer" philosophy. In his book, he uses his wisdom to guide you through the world of inventing your own life.
The audiobook [Every Tool's a Hammer: Life Is What You Make It narrated by ['Adam Savage']] is the timeless story of "The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit" and how he found meaning and purpose after a tumultuous childhood.
Adam Savage is a creator, innovator and educator with an extraordinary resume. He is the co-host of Tested, which airs on the Discovery Channel, has hosted Mythbusters since its debut in 2003, and was a consultant on JAWS before its release. Adam's latest educational book is Every Tool's a Hammer: Life Is What You Make It, which uses his own life to illustrate how one person can live a happy and fulfilled life by living in pursuit of knowledge and making their own choices.
This audiobook is very engaging and one of the things I love about it is that it's read by Adam Savage, who you may know from Mythbusters. It has a bit of a story but more so it's his own personal philosophy on life and living with style. There are many interesting analogies between what he does for a living with building things and how having the ability to build things makes life better in general.
The point of the book is that no matter what you're trying to do, there is always an in-between tool that will work for you. The intended audience of the book is anyone who has ever wanted a better job or hobby, which can be anyone as long as they are willing to see things differently.
