Dust & Decay Free Audiobook Download by Jonathan Maberry

Dust and Decay is the book that leads to the creation of the Dead Zone. It follows a young, autistic woman named Lucy who learns about her great-uncle's experiments in military bioengineering when she accidentally goes missing during a thunderstorm. When she comes back, she finds piles of tattered newspaper clippings and an abandoned lab with her entire family brutally murdered. Lucy begins to investigate on her own and becomes convinced that there is more going on behind the scenes than any government would ever admit.

Jonathan Maberry's latest audiobook is a gripping horror novel told from multiple perspectives about the hidden zombie apocalypse. The novel begins with a group of friends camping in the woods when they are attacked by zombies. This starts a series of events that leave them fighting for their lives and leads them to discover what happened and why.

Dust and Decay is a story that starts off in the late 1800s. The protagonist, Josh Kirby, is an ex-folk hero who has been forced to live in a small town because of his past crimes. As he struggles to escape from his past, he finds that the enemies from his old life are not only still around but are trying to kill him since he has information about their current leader.

Jonathan Maberry's novel, Dust & Decay is a mystery that contains elements of suspense, horror, and paranormal. In the story, virus researcher Dr. Richard Rosetti returns to his hometown after ten years to investigate an outbreak of a rare type of flu. The outbreak changes everything as he comes face-to-face with the townspeople that were once his friends and family.

Brian Hutchison does a great job of creating fear in his narration. I found myself holding my breath for some of the long, suspenseful moments when he was narrating more than just dialogue.
