Dragon Haven: Volume Two of the Rain Wilds Chronicles Free Audiobook Download by Robin Hobb

I am in love with this series! The narration is top-notch. This narrator has a sexy growly voice that is perfect for the main character, Fitz. In volume two we learn more about the other characters and about some of the relationships of the different species. My favorite parts in this book were the scenes where Davy fights dragons and those where she does a play for a group of Nightwings to learn about them.

'Dragon Haven: Volume Two of the Rain Wilds Chronicles' is the second installment in the 'Rain Wilds Chronicles. This novel picks up where 'Dragon Haven' left off, with a group of former traders, Alise and Malta and Stuvar, Jinca, Rojer and his daughter Kani, as they make their way through the treacherous waterway known as The River Moth. They are escaping from an evil that can only be defeated by each individual's fighting for themselves and banding together against it.'

In Dragon Haven, the sequel to Robin Hobb's Rain Wilds Chronicles, we finally meet Kelsingra. A bizarre ancient city in the heart of the Rain Wilds, it has stood hidden and unknown for thousands of years. But now it must be revealed, and its secrets need to be unearthed in order to save it and carefully catch any possible threat before it destroys all of the lives and all of the worlds in this world.

Kelsingra is a city of wonder, a living fossil of the ancient world. Until now, no one knew it existed. That was until a tribe of mercenaries came across the hidden city and made off with its most valuable treasure--the golden dragon eggs-unaware that these eggs would hatch into dragons beyond imagining, capable of destroying civilization as we know it.

The left side of the Amazon River is home to the Rain Wilds, a vast jungle that has never been explored by humans. In this fantastic land live dragons, who are able to fly and talk like humans. The magic of these creatures has drawn many people, who want to learn about them and study them for profit. One person charged with watching over the land is Draconas Cordell, a young man whose ambition is greater than his skill as a dragon-keeper. But when he meets Alise Kincarron, he begins to change his mind about how he should be leading his life.

This was a good second installment to Hobb's series of books. The book has a lot of adventure and mystery with plenty of twists. I enjoyed the story and found it very hard to put it down when not driving or doing other activities.
