One day, Barbara discovers that her fiancé died and inexplicably so, but she will not stop at nothing until she discovers the killer's identity.

Death of a Charming Man is the twelfth novel in the series and is set in Scotland at the turn of the 20th century. It follows on from Christmas at Castle Wylie although characters from previous novels play an important part in this story.
