Dava Shastri's Last Day Free Audiobook Download by Kirthana Ramisetti

"Dava Shastri's Last Day" is a novel set in the backdrop of India, where you experience it. The story revolves around the last day of Dava Shastri's life and the people who would remember her in their time of grief. Through the narration of this novel, you get to understand her friends and family, and even more so than that, you feel like you know them as if they were living in your own life.

Dava Shastri is a popular journalist and executive who works for one of the Indian television channels. She is known to be irreverent, controversial, and outspoken. One day, she takes ill and decides to go on leave from her job. The following day becomes her last in the world as she dies due to heart failure.

The story begins with a woman on the phone with her sister, leaving out of frustration and annoyance as she is unable to find a parking spot near her office. The woman's office is one of many in a large building where she works as an administrative assistant. The woman has just started her day and has not yet seen anyone else around when she notices a man in the elevator carrying what appears to be a small child by his side. She notices that he is struggling to hold the child up, who seems to weigh more than he does, so she offers him help. He gratefully accepts and they make it to the ground floor without incident.

In the audiobook, Dava Shastri is not just a character and narrator but also the main protagonist. The novel is about her and the events that happen to her. It shows her struggle at achieving what she set out to do: write a book before she dies.

It's been a few days since Dava Shastri got married, but she still hasn't taken her last day off. She just wants it to be over and done with so that she can finally take the time off that she's been putting off.

When I woke up, I knew that this would be the last day of my life. I jumped around the room in joy. The only thing that made me sad was that I couldn't share this moment with anyone else.
