It's been a while since we've seen Fifty Shades of Grey, but Christian has become an integral part. This is his story - the book he wrote extolling how good he was to Anastasia Steele. As you would expect, there are many more twists and turns in this book that make for a gripping read.

In Fifty Shades Darker, Christian tells Ana that they need to be more careful. He tells her that she needs to be safe and he has a plan of how to do it. They need to make sure they are never too close, or else the passion will consume them.

The narrator of this audiobook is Christian and we get a lot of his point-of-view on the story. He is not perfect, he makes mistakes, but he knows what he wants and what he doesn't want. He may be controlling and have issues, but that is no reason to stop reading because he does care for Ana deeply.

This is the second book in the Fifty Shades of Grey series and it's just as steamy and delightful as the first. I'm a very big fan of this type of narration so it was great to hear Christian's voice again. The narrator has a smooth, sexy, dominant tone that makes listening to this book feel like being at Christian's side as he takes her through his world of pleasure.
