He makes it easy to identify characters and their personalities, even though they are often speaking in hushed tones or dark rooms.

The narrator, Christopher Lane, is someone who has devoted his life to the study of the bible. His expertise in ancient languages and culture make him an invaluable asset when it comes to deciphering biblical texts. He's asked to help with a translation but quickly learns that there is more going on than a simple translation task. One of the scrolls delivered to him holds deeply disturbing information that has implications for world peace and he is forced to take on a human identity in order to protect those around him.

People of the Middle East have seen a lot in recent times. The people have experienced wars, terrorist attacks and other terrible events that lead to more violence.
