When a chocolate chip cookie goes missing from their communal fridge, the fifth graders of St. Anthony's School for the Deaf and Blind set about solving the crime. But when it turns out that one of the students is a culprit, things start to get really weird.

This isn't the first time that Suzanne Toren has been paired with Joanne Fluke. They've worked together before on a few other audiobooks as well as Fluke's own books. It is, however, the first time they've read some of the same work so it's an interesting experiment in narration.

The narrator is a bit annoying and her voice almost made me want to stop listening to the book. But the story itself was fun and engaging, so I kept going until I finished it. It was a quick read, which is good because I had it downloaded on my Kindle app on my phone so I could listen to it when I had downtime during the day.

They had been arguing about their future plans, but the event becomes more complicated when it's discovered that they were murdered-both by a single bullet. With no leads, the homicide detective working on the case must rely on his own instincts to crack this case.

If you are looking for a suspenseful, quick, and sneaky read with lots of twists and turns then this is the audiobook for you! The narrator does a great job of telling the story. Her voice makes it much better.
