The narrator of the book is Erin Bennett who does a wonderful job with her performance. The author Laurie Cass is an experienced journalist and interviewer who has spent years working in crime investigations, interviewing and profiling criminals. Her experiences in the journalism world, along with close to 20 years of experience as an investigator, give her a unique insight into crime in society.

Laurie Cass is a fun, light-hearted read on the romance and adventures of a woman who runs her own private investigation agency. Laurie and her team of misfits are all under 35, don't mind getting their hands dirty, and have quirkier personalities than you're likely to find in your average billionaire protagonist. This audiobook download has a strong lineup of talented actors including Erin Bennett who does an amazing job narrating this novel.

Laurie Cass is a noir mystery set in the 1950s. It tells the story of a young woman, Mary Pat Dennehy, who is desperate to escape her unhappy marriage and she becomes involved with Detective Andy Parker.

The narrator of the book, Erin Bennett, is one of my favorite authors, and she does a splendid job. She gives voices to all the characters in the book, and even though I don't agree with everything that's said, I hear them from her perspective. The book is well-paced; this should be the first audiobook that you listen to if you've been wanting to try it out.

Laurie's story has more twists and turns than a rollercoaster ride. There is never a dull moment as the listener follows Laurie, who's on the run from a killer she believes is still out there.
