Breed: A Novel Free Audiobook Download by Chase Novak

Breed is a novel about vampires. It takes place in the first half of 20th century, when the vampires were still persecuted. It follows three main characters: Lyle, a human; Rowan, a vampire; and Anne Marie, a human who is Lyle's girlfriend. As with any good story, there are twists and turns that keep you on your toes until the very end of it all.

A natural disaster has decimated the population of mankind. One man, Aaron, is left behind in his battle to survive. He can sense that there are others out there and they are coming to find him. But time is ticking and he must find a way to communicate with them before they kill him. The only thing he has left is a journal that he uses as a means of survival.

With a background in the military, and a few different careers, Chase Novak was not the typical person looking to get married. But when he finds out that his girlfriend is pregnant, he knows that he and the baby need each other more than ever. With this in mind, Chase decides to find a wife as fast as possible.

The concept of Breed is not new to the book industry. However, it was a fresh read when published in 2011 due to the author's unique writing style. This novel takes place in the near future where Earth has been invaded by aliens and mankind needs an army of their own. A scientist creates a new species that turns out to be very dangerous--the Breeds. The story is told through first person point of view and follows both Ethan (a human) and Evangeline (one of the Breeds). The characters are interesting and their emotions are portrayed well, but it's more about the world than about them. It's also told from multiple points of view giving you a more complete understanding of what's going on.

Breed is a horror-thriller novel written by Chase Novak. The narrator of the audiobook is Peter Ganim, an Irish author and journalist who spent years in Europe before moving back to the United States. The book is narrated from multiple perspectives with no clear protagonist or antagonist until the second half of the novel when protagonist Ben Pritchard becomes revealed.
