Hunter is a contemporary fantasy novel that depicts the interaction between human and supernatural beings as they work through complicated relationships, family drama, and self-discovery in modern day New York City. Born at Midnight by C. C. Hunter is a horror novel that's perfect for listening to on audiobook or reading aloud in the dark. It's about a young wife, Molly, whose husband moves them to a remote island off the coast of New England where they are tasked with protecting their unborn son from the witch made legend of 'The Babymaker.'

Born at Midnight is the next installment in the Born to Darkness series by author C.C. Hunter. The story follows three friends of Claire's who are each facing very different dilemmas - one has gotten pregnant, one is fighting against a dark entity they believe is sending their loved ones to an early grave, and one just wants to be happy and live a normal life.

Born at Midnight is a romantic suspense novel by award winning author C. C. Hunter. The plot centers on FBI agent, Alix Freeman, who has always been able to see into the past and the future with her sometimes gift, but never been able to change a single event that has already occurred until one day when she sees a major crime coming and tries to intervene - only to find out it's too late.

Born at Midnight is a gripping and beautifully written story of two families, one black and one white, during the time of segregation. The narrator, Katie Schorr, voices the story of her grandmother who was born in 1883 in Athens, Georgia. Two families get drawn into a web of lies and deceit which leads to tragedy.

Born at Midnight is the first book in the Born Trilogy by C. C. Hunter, an urban fantasy with a whole new perspective on vampires and werewolves. Katie Schorr's narration of this story was excellent and I had to keep reminding myself that there was no actual narrator in the story. This is a quick listen because it's written in third person but it's well worth spending time with Born at Midnight if you're looking for something different and are tired of the same old vampire books, movies, or TV shows.
