This is the first in a series of radio mysteries from Nicci French and it's a good one! The main character, Frieda Klein, is interesting and her stories are intriguing.

Frieda Klein, a private detective in London, is approached by a mysterious person who asks for her help with a missing person case. The woman, who is called Denise and has been missing for six months now, was seen on CCTV at the tube station close to where Frieda lives. She's also thought to be connected to some kind of cult so Frieda has no choice but to take on the case. The disappearance has left her life feeling dark and she starts tracking down leads about the mysterious woman herself. As the case progresses Frieda finds herself getting closer to the truth and eventually learns that this could possibly be one of those missing people cases that goes unsolved forever.

Blue Monday: A Frieda Klein Mystery is a mystery novel written by Nicci French. It is narrated by Beth Chalmers and her voice is perfect for what the story needs. The audiobook, with its multiple voices, allows listeners to hear a lot of the characters personalities. This was an incredible audiobook and it will long be remembered as one of my all-time favorites
