Black-Eyed Susans: A Novel of Suspense Free Audiobook Download by Julia Heaberlin

In this clever, suspenseful novel of a woman on a mysterious trip to the deep south, Nicole is looking for her long-lost father and then she stumbles upon a shocking discovery.

Black-Eyed Susans is the gripping story of a woman who's husband disappeared while sailing around the world and her journey to find him. Julia Heaberlin, a budding novelist, tells the story through the eyes of three people--Kate Murray Gaddis, her husband, Ted Murray Gaddis, and his best friend Jack--all of whom are struggling to come to grips with what happened on board their yacht.

The story is set in a small town in North Dakota, and follows the plight of Luke Dubois, a new teacher who moves to the area after living all over the country. He soon meets a group of young men at the local bar, and he's drawn into their world of sex, drugs, alcohol, and gambling. Luke is also introduced to a woman named Jessie who offers him a lot more than he ever expected.

Black-Eyed Susans: A Novel of Suspense is a wonderfully suspenseful story that will have you turning pages rapidly. The plot is unique and different from the norm, and the narrator made it an even better listening experience. I can't recommend this book enough to anyone who enjoys a good thriller!
