Believe Me: A Novel Free Audiobook Download by Jp Delaney

Believe Me: A Novel is the story of a brilliant, flawed, and all-too-human loose cannon, who thinks he knows how to fix everything. When the chips are down and the world is on fire, the last thing anyone wants to hear from you is advice. The only person who can change his mind and make him think differently is somebody he loves. That's exactly what happens in this darkly comic novel about a man struggling with depression as he watches his life burn around him

[Jp Delaney is a con man. He's been running cons since he was a teenager and he has a knack for them. One of his cons involved convincing Lorelei King to marry him. She fell for it and now they're married, but she's not happy.]

In this suspenseful novel, an investigation into the disappearance of an author takes a turn when the kidnapper reveals that he has killed three other authors. The mystery becomes who is behind the kidnapper and what will happen to another author if they never receive ransom money?

Mr. King is a small-town newspaper reporter in the 1950's. After he discovers that his wife is having an affair, he struggles with how to put the story together, and whether or not to publish it. He reaches out to a local professor for help on the story, who leads him to a startling discovery about his own life that could ruin everything he has built up over the years.

The hardcover of Believe Me: A Novel is 24.75 inches wide by 25.25 inches tall, and it has a thickness of 1 inch and 77 pages. The slimness allows for more space to be taken up with text on the front and back covers, as well as inner-front and back flaps, maps, abstracts, glossary, index, etc.

There is a lot of suspense in this novel. Things happen in such a fast pace that it's hard to keep up with everything. The narrator does well.
