Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Rise of Kyoshi Free Audiobook Download by F. C. Yee
The Avatar: The Last Airbender series is one of my personal favorite fictional series, and I am so happy to have a new book based on the characters. F. C. Yee explained in his book that he took the story from the TV show and expanded it into a graphic novel and then created a comic book version of it. All these different versions were made before being turned into an audiobook, which is narrated by Nancy Wu! This was done to incorporate some diversity in narrator gender because as many people know, female voices are commonly seen narrating audiobooks.
The ancient legacy of the Avatar is one of peace and balance. But when Aang, a 12-year-old boy in a primitive tribe, inadvertently summons the four nations' past Avatars, he sets off an epic battle to save his world.
One of the great things about this audiobook is that it has a different narrator for each one. Nancy Wu does a tremendous job narrating the audiobook.
[ A young girl disappears on her way home. A young boy, who should be a master of the art of firebending and control of his emotions, is a shattered mess. Someone has kidnapped the girl and is holding her for ransom. After everything goes wrong, the boy must find his lost sensei from out of nowhere to save the world from being consumed by darkness.
The Rise of Kyoshi is a prequel story about the life of Katara's paternal grandmother, Oshun. It is set at the time when Kyoshi abandoned her identity as Kiyoshi to become Kyoshi, and it explores how she became the Avatar in the first place.
