Atlantis Stolen is a story about a man named Christopher Cartwright who has spent his life searching for Atlantis. He finally finds it, but the island is not like he expects it to be. It's described as having an "overgrown" feeling and it is also inhabited by monsters. The people of Atlantis want to banish him from their land because they don't want outsiders living there. They are banished so they live in a place much like New York City, but with less pollution.
The book is about a scientist who is obsessed with finding Atlantis. He learns to teleport and he's able to find the lost city and transport it up to the surface of the ocean. The protagonist, John Cartwright, is on a cruise with his wife when they're robbed at gunpoint. That night, he teleports with his family back home by shifting through different dimensions. He goes back on the ship and after realizing his experience was all a dream, he's punched in the face by one of the robbers who got away.

Atlantis Stolen is a thriller about the discovery of Atlantis. When Dr. Porter finds the sunken city, he realizes that it's not an ancient civilization, but a future society. His son, Chris, was one of the first people to enter Atlantis and get to know its inhabitants. When he returns home to America following Atlantis's takeover by a terrorist group, he is captured and interrogated for information about his discoveries there. Meanwhile, Dr. Porter has been getting closer to the truth about Atlantis - and maybe closer to its secrets - than he ever imagined possible.
One of the best stories about the most famous sunken city of all time. This is an audiobook which is entertaining and informative. The narrator does a great job of conveying the different characters and emotions throughout the book. This highlights an interesting portion of history that many people are not familiar with.
