Anna Karenina Free Audiobook Download by Leo Tolstoy

"This is a great audiobook. It has a lot of emotion and I can feel the sadness of the characters." The book was read by ["Miranda Pleasence"] who narrated both the audio files and the video clips in an accessible way for viewers.

Anna Karenina was originally published in 1877. It is the story of an unhappy married woman who becomes infatuated with a man, and then marries him to be close to him before their relationship ultimately falls apart. Set in Russia, the novel follows the life of Anna Karenina from childhood until her death at age 43.

Every few years I get a new audiobook and I'm always completely blown away in the first 20 minutes. It's just something about a narrator who can make it seem like you're there with them that does something to my brain. This experience is no different, but this time it was the reader who did it for me. The narrator of this audiobook was Miranda Pleasence and she wasn't just good, but she was spectacular. From reading the cold Russian accents to her inflections and timing, she made Anna Karenina feel like a real person to me.

Anna Karenina is the story of a woman who made some serious choices. She cared for her family and honor above all else, despite being cold, detached, and seemingly uncaring. Despite that, she falls in love with another man and ends up destroying her family and herself.

Anna Karenina, a novel by Leo Tolstoy that has been adapted countless times for film and television, is now available to listen to in an audiobook. The narrator for this version is British actress Miranda Pleasence.

A woman's life is changed forever after her father is killed by the family's serfs in a senseless act of violence. She leaves her home for the bright lights and bustling streets of Moscow, and meets a wealthy young man who captures her heart. But she soon learns that this love story has been told before, and it's not always a happy ending.
