The novel is neither too long nor too short, conveying a sense of urgency while maintaining the narrative's pace. The narrator did an excellent job of distinguishing between characters and creating tension in different scenes. In addition, the narrator did such a good job with his voices that you are able to distinguish between British accents and Americans despite not knowing what accent he used for each speaker.

Russell Drysdale is a British businessman living in Germany with his wife and two sons, when he's approached by the British intelligence agency MI6. His office is bugged, and they need him to help them stop a group of Russian terrorists who have hijacked an airplane. He agrees on the condition that he can hire a lawyer, but quickly realizes that the terms of their agreement are almost impossible to fulfill; they'll need to work together as spies.
