An Enchantment of Ravens Free Audiobook Download by Margaret Rogerson

A magical novel that has been heralded as one of the best novels written in decades. It tells the story of a young woman who is taken to Ravenfell by her father after her mother dies and becomes the kitchen scullery maid for the household, but she is not content with this life and when she develops powers of magic she sets out on a journey to escape into the world beyond Ravenfell.

An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson is an audiobook based on the legend of King Arthur that is set in a fantastical land called Thelema. The story follows the adventures of Sir Kenneth, a nobleman disillusioned by the world around him and longing to return home when he is thrown into a sorcery that transports him to this world. Here he meets some friends who help him find his way back home again to escape from his mysterious captors.

A raven is a black bird with a white patch on its forehead that is found throughout the world. It is considered to be both intelligent and magical because it can communicate with humans. The story takes place in the fictional kingdom of Eastside, where the protagonist Lirael speaks for three days straight about the importance of believing in magic when she finds herself talking to a raven. Her father was killed by an evil necromancer, and her family has been ostracized from society for their beliefs.

An Enchantment of Ravens is a beautiful story about the magic of wishes, friendship, and love. What's not to love?

A young woman is cursed with a raven who she can never kill, which drives her to madness. The story is told from the perspective of various characters and narrators, whose beautifully written insight helps to paint a picture of how the curse affected different members of the town. I really enjoyed this book for its description of a fictional land where magic and folklore are part of everyday life.

"This is a powerful, absorbing, and highly recommended audiobook" - Kressley The novel begins with Ursula, the tale's narrator, being given the task of weaving the story of her life into one long tapestry. On this morning she sets out to weave the first chapter of her life-when she was eight years old. From there Ursula weaves through each day of her life using memories and other sources of information.
