This is an exciting, fun book to listen to. I love that it's a series. It makes for great listening time. Tom and the other characters have finally found their way back home after all this time of wandering around in the Otherworld. They are now ready to take on Erandar, the powerful magician who has been ruling over their land for years. This book is full of magic and swordsplay, but also has a lot of emotion as well.
A Joust of Knights is book sixteen in the Sorcerer's Ring series that follows the story of a teenage girl named Jenna who lives in a magical realm populated by wizards and warriors. She was always an outsider and was teased for being who she was, but that never stopped her from following her dream to be the best warrior possible. She faces many challenges along the way, including jealousy and racism.
The Landers were set to host the biggest event in the history of their small town. The elite knights from all over the world would be competing for the honor and glory of being named champion. But even before the games began, a dark cloud hung over them. One of the most powerful knights had been brutally murdered, and his killer left a terrifying message on his corpse warning that he was only getting warmed up. Parthon had always reveled in being one step ahead of everyone else but now, as he tried to find who killed Sir Zacharius and why, it seemed like he was running headlong into a dead end every time they turned down another street.
