This is a great audiobook! Not only does it have Oscar Wilde's wonderful language, but there are also some interesting and unusual narrators. The reader switches from different actors, to music, to sounds of birds and leaves rustling in the wind. It's a delight for your ears.

Alex Lau's reading of Oscar Wilde's A House of Pomegranates does an excellent job of capturing the melancholy and dark humor in the pages. The book tells a tale about an old man who is cared for by his two daughters; one good and one bad. The daughter that is good, Clara, is like the sun to him while the daughter that is bad, Gertrude, is like a storm. The contrast between these two sisters makes this audiobook interesting.

This is a fantastic and enigmatic lost work by Oscar Wilde. It is not clear when the novella was written, but it was probably composed in 1887. It tells the story, in the form of a dream-vision, of one who has committed an unforgivable sin and been condemned to an eternity of punishment. The tale unfolds as he waits for the dawn that will bring him release.
