A Distant Shore: A Novel Free Audiobook Download by Karen Kingsbury

Twelve years ago, Kirby Heyborne's mother walked out on her. One year after that, she married the man who would become not only a father to her own son, but also a new husband. But it wasn't all smooth sailing after that. Kirby and her husband started fighting, and their marriage was over by the time Kirby found herself pregnant again. Now she sets out to find her father in law - with or without telling him she is pregnant.

At the age of 16, a young girl was suddenly orphaned. Left with nothing but her sketchbook and her imagination, she began to draw pictures to capture what had become of the family she once thought would always be with her.

Kirby Heyborne, who is voicing the protagonist of this novel, says she is "honored to bring life to the words written by Karen Kingsbury." It's a beautiful book that'll make you laugh, cry, and fall in love all at the same time.

Three friends, one a photographer and the other two doing their graduate work in architecture, are on a trip to the Mediterranean. They spend days exploring Greece and Italy before finally venturing out to Israel. As they explore Israel's ancient ruins, they come across a man who is desperate for food and shelter. The three stop at a village in Palestine to assist him.

Karen Kingsbury's novel, A Distant Shore, is yet another Christian-themed work with a strong focus on faith. You'll find a lot of the same tropes that you would expect in any Christian-themed fiction: gentle souls in harsh circumstances, kind and wise Christians who are still human just like everyone else, etc.

In the novel A Distant Shore, author Karen Kingsbury draws us into the life of Annie Conner, a young girl from Colorado who has just entered her junior year of high school and is plagued with constant guilt and fear. The story opens up when one night while at home watching TV, Annie sees news footage of a girl in South Sudan who was beaten to death. How easy it would be to just go on with her life and forget about the incident. But something inside her resounds louder than anything she's ever known
