A Cold Day for Murder Free Audiobook Download by Dana Stabenow
The book begins with Skeeter Richardson, who's taking a break from her job at the newspaper. She's trying to get away from it all, but then the editor-in-chief calls her into work on her day off. When she comes in to find out what's going on, she learns that they found a dead body in the woods near town and need help covering the story.
This was a really good murder mystery by Dana Stabenow. It had a good story, lots of interesting characters, and great suspense. I liked the historical aspects to this book as well. The narrator did an amazing job with all the voices in the audiobook, but I think her voice for Marguerite Gavin reminded me of Bobbi Brown.
This is not your typical cozy mystery. When a well-known art dealer is found murdered in her greenhouse, the police have their work cut out for them. They are unable to find a motive, and they struggle to figure out who would have committed such a heinous crime. It seems that the only thing connecting this murder to the others is the time frame in which all three murders took place. The author told us about the many suspects, but left us on our own to decide for ourselves who committed these heinous crimes.
In Dana Stabenow's novel, A Cold Day for Murder, Marguerite Gavin provides the narration and makes this thriller one of the best that's been written. In her voice, you can't help but feel suspenseful as she describes a country road in pouring rain on a cold night- the perfect setting for a murder!
