I was extremely excited to get this audiobook because I have loved James Patterson books since I was a little girl. I had the opportunity to listen to his 2nd Chance, Booktrack Edition audiobook and it did not disappoint! The story not only captivated me from beginning to end but the narration by Jeremy Piven and Melissa Leo was phenomenal!

This is a very interesting book. It is the 2nd Chance by Andrew Gross and James Patterson. This story series follows a detective who has been given a chance to live again with all of his memories intact, but he must return to the present and try to solve this murder mystery in order to be able to stay. The narrator was Jeremy Piven and Melissa Leo.

In his second chance at life, a former mobster must find the courage to turn in his old friends. Now he's working undercover as an FBI agent and helping law enforcement target those who destroyed his family - and that includes the woman who abandoned him years before. When a surprising event leads them both out of Chicago and into a high-stakes game of cat-and best-mouse.

In the audiobook, a killer is on the loose and someone is on the fence. The story takes place in New York City where all bets are off and anything can happen. This thriller has an incredible cast that includes Jeremy Piven who plays lead character 'Mick Stone' who will do anything to stay alive. Though he was burnt out from his last case, Stone still seeks redemption from a society that won't accept him. He goes undercover as a teacher and starts a podcast to find clues about how he can give back to society. But then Stone meets a high school student named Alexi Miller who changes his life forever.

The Second Chance: Booktrack Edition is the ninth installment in The Body Finder series by author Johnathan Maberry. This release sees the protagonist continue to search for his missing sister, soon encountering a group of hunters who want him dead and forcing him to run again.
