Winning the Gentleman is about a woman who meets a gentleman at an event and falls in love with him. They have a whirlwind romance but after a year she discovers that he has had three wives before her and doesn't love her at all. She decides to come back and win him back after he realises how much she meant to him.

The audiobook is an interesting listen. The narrator does a great job of taking on the many different personalities, from the protagonist's moments of doubt to the female protagonist's moments of anger. It was easy to see the progression of how the story unfolded and is well-paced throughout.

If you are looking for some light and fluffy romance, then this is the perfect book for you. There is a lot of love, laughter, and happiness in this story. The narration by Ann Marie Gideon is simply wonderful. She has quite the voice that just makes you feel like things are always going to be okay which I appreciated.
