The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame is a story about four animals who live on an idyllic riverbank. They love their life and their home, but everything changes when a fifth animal, Ratty, comes to the bank looking for some food. The other animals abandon their peaceful life for the unknown dangers of the city when they realize that Ratty is not just any old rat.

"Toad of Toad Hall" is a short tale about how Toad, Mole, Ratty and Badger were playing when they were suddenly interrupted by what sounded like a great wind through the wood.
