Wild Blood is a dark fantasy novel that is set in the world of shadows, where humans are persecuted and hunted by bloodthirsty creatures known as sarn. Aya, our protagonist, is a young sarn whose father was murdered by the humans. She is on the run with her mare who has always been loyal to her and can sense when they're near danger or when people lie or deceive. The mare's magic ability helps them survive their dangerous journey through the forest, but Aya's only hope for redemption lies in saving her father's life.

The audiobook is a great way to get into the story as it plays out in your head and allows you to escape into the world of the book. It features voice actors Alexander Cendese and Hollie Jackson who do an excellent job of voicing all the characters in this novel.

It's been a long time since I've loved an audiobook so much that I couldn't stop listening to it. Naomi Lucas manages to do this with Wild Blood. The story is about Katie and her love for her cat, Homer, who she found abandoned on the streets at a young age. She takes care of him and eventually he starts coming back to his old self. They face many challenges such as Katie's dad being incarcerated, Homer getting lost, and even going through periods without food. All these problems are overcome by the love between the humans in this book.

If you are looking for a book with a great story that is filled with action, struggle, and romance, then Wild Blood has all of that. I was hooked from the beginning to the last chapter!

The story follows Jimmy, a college dropout who is content not to do anything but drink and do drugs. One night, his best friend convinces him that they should go camping, so they decide to go on a long drive. As they are driving up the mountain, their car breaks down and they end up stranded in the mountains with no car or phone signal. The story alternates between Jimmy in the present day wanting to stop wasting his life and trying to find his way back home and his sisters as kids in the past just trying to survive after an airplane crash.

The audiobook is just over 16 hours long and features an amazing cast of narrators. The audiobook has received 4 out of 5 stars on Audible and is available for download at a cost of $2.99.
